High ranking officials of the justice fraternity took part in this meeting - Minister for Justice, Attorney General, Director of the Public Prosecution – of Saint Lucia, Dominica and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, whose proximity to the French departments of the Caribbean impose shared actions taking into account the importance of the trans-border business.

These meetings, the first of its kind ever organized by France in this domain, are first of all, aimed at introducing the various partners of the OECS judiciary and at making known the fight against delinquency and crime in the French overseas departments. They were an occasion for intense exchanges among the participants and made it possible to examine the means of improving co-operation between the legal and security services of the various States and territories in order to fight against trafficking and crime.
