What is NOT an emergency

These situations do not constitute emergency cases and will only be addressed during the regular embassy opening hours

  • Issues related to travel to or from any of the Eastern Caribbean countries:
  • Questions about Coronavirus and/or travel formalities and entry requirements to any of the Eastern Caribbean countries
  • Theft or loss of passport or identity card without imminent travel plans
  • Visa inquiries for France
  • Information about consulate formalities
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Passport or laissez-passer requests

What constitutes an emergency

  • Assault, violence
  • Serious accidents, death abroad
  • Arrest, incarceration abroad
  • Alarming disappearances

When making a call regarding an emergency, it is important to mention:

  • The location of the incident.
  • The nature of the incident.
  • Your current location.
  • The phone number you are using for communication
In case of a confirmed and immediate emergency (assault, serious accident, death, arrest, alarming disappearance) involving a French citizen and outside office hours, please contact the following number: +(1-758) 484-3167.

⚠️ ATTENTION: Never use this number for other cases in order to avoid blocking the line for real emergencies!

The Consulate offices being closed in the evenings and on weekends, the agent handling emergency calls will not be able to address issues related to non-urgent situations.

⚠️ Please note that there is a time difference with France: 5 hours in winter / 6 hours in summer
